Granting a Wish and Much More

Every time you purchase one of my cards, you are helping to support the Kellsie’s Hope Foundation!

I am so happy to get to help support an amazing organization called, “Kellsie’s Hope.”  This organization grants wishes for kids going through cancer treatments, provides nursing scholarships and raises money for cancer research.  It’s a great organization that I hope you’ll spend some time to learn more about.

A portion of every greeting card sale goes to help me grant wishes for this great organization.  So your purchase is not just helping me build my business, but it’s also helping to pay it forward to children that really need some joy in their lives.

Each year, I collect warm winter hats for cancer patients in local children’s hospitals.  I have received so many nice notes from the recipients of these hats and it couldn’t be done without the help of YOU.  You have helped me to collect more than 2,500 hats over the past few years and I have no plans of slowing down…we are already collecting for the next Christmas season!  Thanks for all of your support!

Kellsie’s Hope Mission:

Our mission is to provide hope to families that have children suffering from cancer by offering support for trips and gifts that might otherwise be unattainable. We are also dedicated to raising awareness and funds to support childhood cancer research and support the education of healthcare providers with an annual nursing scholarship.

Giving Hats to Local Children

“A simple hat can do more than just warm your head”

When I first discovered the Kellsie’s Hope Foundation in 2019, it got me thinking that kids who lose their hair from treatments may like to get a free, winter hat.  I gathered up all of my money and bought 50 hats from mostly crafters and small boutique shops.  Kellsie’s Hope helped deliver these hats to the deserving kids at local children’s hospitals and I got many nice notes from kids my own age who appreciated the hats.  Since then, I’ve worked very hard to buy more hats but also ask my friends and family for help collecting even more!

How do I donate?

Donating a hat or two is as easy as pie.  If you would like to donate a hat, you may mail to the Gori Law Firm in Edwardsville, IL or drop off at Makers on Main Street in Columbia, IL.  While the collection deadline has passed for this year, we would love to accept your hats for our collection next year.  Unfortunately, we can only accept new, unused hats with tags.  Remeber, these hats are being collected to bring a smile to a child’s face…so the more fun the hat…the more fun to receive!
